Interviewing at Sano
Here’s a quick guide to what you can expect from our typical hiring process - from first hello to final offer.
The Process

*This is our usual process - some roles may differ slightly depending on the scope or focus of the role
What to Expect
-
👋 Talent Screen
- A casual chat with our Talent team to get to know you
- No tricky technical questions - just seeing if we’re a good match
We’ll also give you a peek into Sano, our mission, and how we work
-
🎯 1st Interview
- A deep dive with the Hiring Manager or someone from the team
- Expect to talk about past impact, how you solve problems, and what you could bring to the role
You’ll also get a chance to ask questions and get a feel for the team and culture
-
🤝 2nd Interview
- Meet up to 3 key stakeholders across Sano
- We’re looking at how you collaborate, think, and approach real-world challenges
This stage may include a live task, case study, or role-play (we’ll let you know in advance!)
-
🚀 Final Interview
- A final conversation with someone from our Leadership team
- We’ll chat about values, long-term goals, and your motivations
It’s a two-way conversation - bring your big questions too!

Feedback & Follow up
- We do our best to share constructive feedback at every stage of the interview process
- You’ll also get a quick survey at the end - your insights help us improve
Timelines
- We’re pretty speedy: you’ll usually hear from us within 2 weeks of applying
- After that, we move fast (often within days) and try to keep things flowing smoothly between each stage
Using AI in the Process
At Sano, AI is part of how we work - including how we hire. From writing job descriptions and interview questions to transcribing interviews and improving candidate experience, AI helps us move faster and smarter.
📝 We don’t use AI to make decisions - but we did use it to help write this page!
Since we use AI every day, we’re looking for candidates who know how to work with AI too.
Here’s when (and how) to bring AI into your journey with us:

Be yourself. Use AI to support your ideas, not replace them 🤖
