This is our fastest-growing commercial segment, and where your impact will resonate far beyond revenue. As a Biotech Account Executive, you’ll help build the flywheel that powers Sano’s growth. Every biotech partnership is more than a deal, it’s a step toward breaking down barriers in global access to precision medicine. Each collaboration adds momentum that helps biotechs bring new therapies to patients faster, while also unlocking the potential for broader partnerships across the industry.
Your work here won’t just close deals. It will help biotechs bring new therapies to patients faster, expand access to cutting-edge medicine, and move the entire field of precision medicine forward.

How you’ll make an impact:
- Deliver your annual quota, owning biotech deals end-to-end with autonomy
- Take full ownership of pipeline health and 4× coverage, ensuring qualified opportunities progress toward close
- Shorten sales cycles through disciplined use of MEDDPICC, close plans, and HubSpot
- Generate case studies and referenceable biotech wins that strengthen Sano’s pharma expansion flywheel
- Collaborate with Delivery to ensure biotech customers experience seamless execution and renewal potential
- Show up in the market: represent Sano at biotech-facing events and build visibility with key decision-makers
- Capture insights from the field to refine our go-to-market strategy and improve how we sell
This job is for you if you:
- Have proven experience selling into life sciences (biotech, pharma, CRO, or healthtech) or selling complex SaaS/enterprise solutions into regulated industries
- Enjoy working in highly technical sales cycles, where you translate complex science into clear commercial value
- Take pride in owning your pipeline, keeping opportunities moving with focus and discipline
- Are in the flow when applying structured sales methods (MEDDICC, close plans, CRM hygiene) to complex deals
- Communicate with confidence and empathy across scientific and commercial stakeholders
- Thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, where you balance autonomy with collaboration
- Are comfortable networking with scientific leaders and decision-makers at conferences and industry events
- Get energy from diving into the science — whether it’s a new trial protocol, a niche genetic variant, or the latest miRNA paper — and using that curiosity to build credibility with customers
Even better if you:
- Bring a strong scientific or clinical trial background, with the ability to credibly engage on trial protocols, biomarkers, or genetics
- Have experience selling SaaS or services into emerging biotechs in rare disease or precision medicine (Phases I–III)
- Understand regulated environments (e.g. GDPR, GCP, HIPAA) and how they shape clinical trial execution
This role is unlikely to be a great match if:

- You resist feedback and aren’t open to coaching, learning, or adapting your approach
- You avoid accountability for results and find it uncomfortable to fully own your pipeline and outcomes
